Cutts Benedict
PGA of America, Life Member
Cutts has been a full-time PGA golf professional since 1982.
He has been the head professional at various golf clubs covering a 20 year period,
most recently at Jennings Mills in Athens from 1997 to 2006.
He served as tournament director for the Nationwide Tour Athens Regional Foundation Classic
from 2007-2009 (now the Stadion Classic at UGA).
During his career, Cutts has taught thousands of junior golfers of all ages
and has coached several high school players to obtain college scholarships.
He is a past Georgia PGA board member who was honored in 2003 & 2004
with the Horton Smith Award for contributions to PGA education with golf instruction programs.
Cutts is a former 3-year letterman for the University of Texas Longhorns.
